My friend Tim and I started our internship in Emergency Medicine in June of 2011. On one of the first days of orientation we were given 20 lbs textbooks to learn from. That shouldn't be necessary anymore. There is an incredible wealth of information on the internet. From blogs to podcasts, reviews to primary literature, there is a myriad of high equality educational material available. Emergency medicine is a fast paced and dynamic field, and the EM community online reflects that. Let's harness that strength.
